Weston Apple Festival

We ventured to Weston, MO on Saturday for the Apple Festival. We had a great time at an awesome Irish pub, O'Malley's. It had three levels beneath ground and they brew their own beer. Their claim to fame is that they brewed a popular beer during the civil war and shipped it right out on the Missouri River. The Weston Brewing Company was established in 1842 and has been re-built a couple of times over the years. It felt like the pub was part of the original structure, though! After a beer at the pub, we wandered the streets of downtown Weston to take in all the sights, sounds and smells. Sadly, we didn't take any cash and weren't prepared to shop. So we wandered instead - it was a beautiful day!
